Staff teaching is where the real work happens. By addressing a staff on a consistent basis, the coach is able to offer positive insight into personal and professional issues. In a group setting, we regularly discuss ideas such as honesty, purpose, vision, responsibility, communication, love, authority, service, and priorities. Staff teaching proactively addresses challenges work and at home. When employees have high aspirations in their personal lives—when they are able to be more consistent and overcome personal weaknesses—they are more likely to make more positive contributions at work.
